Founded in 1983 by Nick J. Peralta, N.J. Peralta Engineering Ltd. has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality civil engineering services. From the start, the company’s core philosophy has centered on excellence in Municipal Drainage, Infrastructure, and a variety of Development sectors—including Residential, Commercial, Agricultural, and Industrial projects. We take pride in our ability to provide innovative solutions while maintaining positive relationships with the communities we serve.

In 2015, ownership of the company transitioned to two long-time employees, Antonio Peralta and Heide Mikkelsen. Under their leadership, the company remains dedicated to upholding Nick Peralta’s original vision—ensuring that our commitment to exceptional service and a strong reputation continues to guide our work.

In 2024, Peralta Engineering opened its doors to its new office space in the heart of Kingsville, Ontario, built on the same land where its previous building once stood. With a need to grow with its clients, this new building signals a strategic move to bolster its operational capacity and business presence. The new facility, designed with modern infrastructure and sustainable features, will serve as a hub for innovation, collaboration, and growth. By situating the office in the town’s bustling center, the company aims to strengthen community ties, attract local talent, and contribute to the area’s economic vitality. This expansion underscores the company’s commitment to scalability and its vision for long-term success in an evolving market.

Our Municipal Drainage Team specializes in the design, assessment, and management of drainage systems in accordance with Ontario’s Drainage Act. Land Development Team

Our Land Development Team specializes in transforming raw land into fully developed, functional spaces. We provide comprehensive services like site plan design and master planning, site infrastructure design, and required regulatory permitting. Municipal Infrastructure Team

Our Municipal Infrastructure Team focuses on designing, the essential infrastructure that supports communities and new development. Water Resources Management Team

Water Resources Management Team specializes in master planning, designing, and implementing sustainable solutions for managing stormwater to protect the public. Survey / Construction Inspection Team

Our Survey & Construction Inspection Team provides accurate, reliable topographic surveying and quality assurance services throughout the project design, and construction process. We conduct precise topographic surveys, site assessments, and thorough construction inspections to ensure our projects meet the approved design specifications, regulatory standards, and safety requirements. Our team works closely with our engineers, contractors, municipalities, and other stakeholders to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and ensure timely, efficient project completion. With a commitment to accuracy and detail, we help deliver successful construction projects on time and within budget.

N.J. Peralta Engineering Ltd. holds a Certificate of Authorization and employs staff who are designated as Consulting Engineers by Professional Engineers Ontario, allowing the company to offer professional engineering services directly to the public. The company is a current member of the Ontario Society of Professional Engineers (O.S.P.E.), the Land Improvement Contractors of Ontario (L.I.C.O.), and the local Chapter 1 of the Drainage Superintendents Association of Ontario (D.S.A.O.).
