Civil / Municipal Engineer
We are seeking a Civil/Municipal Engineer to join our growing, collaborative, and friendly team. The successful candidate will play a key role in both the design and project management of municipal projects, including drainage, water mains, sewers, roads, and site development.
As a member of our team, you will leverage your expertise in municipal civil engineering to guide projects from concept through design and construction phases, while also helping to foster relationships with existing clients and develop new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead design efforts on municipal infrastructure projects, including drainage systems, water mains, sewers, roads, and site development.
- Collaborate with the team to solve engineering problems and advance projects through concept, design, and construction.
- Work with the team to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet all technical requirements.
Requirements:
- University degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent from a recognized program), with practical experience in the civil engineering field.
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation.
- Minimum of 4 years of engineering experience in Canada.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office.
- Strong understanding and commitment to CAD standards and procedures.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to problem-solve and propose alternative solutions.
- Innovative and analytical mindset, with a passion for working collaboratively in a highly skilled team.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of municipal civil infrastructure construction methods.
- Experience with hydrological modeling and other design-based software is an asset.
- Valid Ontario driver’s licence.
