Our office is looking for a highly motivated and team-orientated Project Manager with an understanding of the various municipal engineering disciplines to manage key client projects while working in a friendly, fast-paced a strong understanding of the municipal engineering environment. This individual will manage municipal infrastructure projects, including drainage, water mains, sewers, roads, and site development. Your experience and understanding of municipal engineering will be an asset in providing new services to existing clients and developing business opportunities with new clients.

We are a strong advocate of the team approach to undertaking projects and problem-solving. The preferred candidate shall possess the following:

• A University Degree in Civil Engineering (from a recognized University engineering program) or equivalent degree program and practical experience in the Civil Engineering discipline
• Minimum of 4 years of Canadian project management experience
• Working knowledge of Urban Planning concepts would be considered an asset
• An innovative and analytical approach to providing solutions, and a desire to work collaboratively as part of a highly skilled team
• Advanced time management and analytical skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and tasks to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• An understanding and commitment to CAD standards and procedures
• Delegate project tasks based on staff members’ individual strengths, skill sets and experience levels
• Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short- and long-term goals
• Meet budgetary objectives and adjust project constraints based on financial analysis
• Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with Clients as well as other staff members
• Valid Ontario driver’s licence
